A California transplant since 2000, Janet is now a resident of Knightstown, Indiana. Janet's main medium is hand-crafted glass bead making, working as both jewelry designer and creator. She has shown her work at the Community Harvest Market Place since its opening and other locations in the Indiana area and 4 in Hawaii. She is a member of ISLAGA (Indiana Society of Lamp Work and Art Glass Artists) and 2009-2010 President of NIFBPW.
Classy Glass was featured in an article in the local Knightstown Banner paper in June 2008 and 2010 New Castle Curior Times. In addition, a number of the Classy Glass crafts, and a commemorative ornament depicting Henry County ( Knightstown is in Henry County ) hung in the Indianapolis State Museum for the Christmas Season of 2008. At the October 2008 Henry County Art Center Annual Fall show, Classy Glass was awarded the Merit Award by the Art Association of Henry County for one of it's Vintage Key Selections.
The 2009 year started with a 1 woman show at the Kennedy Library in Muncie, Indiana. Janet has sold her pieces in Indiana, California, Hawaii, Canada and now offers them to you over the internet. A couple of new additions to the selection of hancrafted items are drawer and cabinet door knobs and glass bead bookmarks. Take a look and have hand-crafted art in your home.

A class for creating bracelets using Janet's one of a kind beads is scheduled to be taught at Henry County Art Center in New Castle, Indiana in April 2010.
